The Last Breathtaking View! Look at all of San Jose!

Once again our wonderful night keeper Seaweed turned ion the lights and woke us up. I got ready quickly. After My Cabin Leader Fawn lead us out to the amphitheater for morning announcements. After we all headed into the dining hall. We had Delicious waffles! I had 3 waffles. I filled in the little squares with syrup.(Its a huge habit of mine). After we got ready for the "Extreme Challenge". Basically the "Extreme Challenge" is when each field class goes on a super long hike (3/4 hours). And we hike one by one alone. Its like the night hike sort of. This is how the organization went. I was with my friend Emily. She was in line behind me. We would send 1 kids at a time into the path with note cards to lead us. Then we would wait 5 minutes before letting another kid go. I went out and it was amazing for it just being me and the wild. I heard birds chirping and I saw butterflies flying around with bee's. I walked to a point and stop for water. I whipped out my camera and took lots of photos of the breathtaking view. It was beautiful! I loved the view solo much. But then... I reach a split trail. I took one trail and saw that there were no cards so I turned back and I saw my friend Emily walking down the hill. I reached her and said I got lost. So we took the path that was correct and I arrived with her to the area for the meet. Then we walked as a group (all of my field class) to the last area! It was a breathtaking view! You could see Levi's Stadium from there! I also saw Avaya Stadium. It was amazing! I loved it. We had our lunch up there in the view area.We had to take showers once we got back to camp!!! NOOOOOO!!!! It was chaos!Then we walked to the dining hall for dinner. Our dinner was super yummy pizza! Then we had our night event. "Cabin Jeopardy"! My group was on FIRE! Then after Cabin Jeopardy we got a mini Camp Dance!! They Blasted The chicken dance,The macarena,whip nae nae, and more hits! Then after Badger started playing a song about new friends and how you have to leave them all someday. I immediately started crying! The Song was super sad. It was called "Shooting Star"(Click link and find the song shooting star) Me and everyone else in my cabin was in tears. I was sad that I would have to leave my new friends the next day.After we headed to bed. Our cabin leader Fawn once again let us stay up till 10:00. And we got more super embarrassing stories from her life! heheheh! Anyway After her last story everyone drifted sadly off to bed.... To Be Continued

Ugggghhhh!!! Seaweed walked in and turned on the blinding lights once again. I awoke quickly and excitedly. Why was I excited? Today was the night hike! I got ready quickly and as always I was the first one to be ready. My Cabin, Fawn and I went out to the amphitheater to get the morning anointments over with. And guess what? My cabin was chosen to be the hoppers for todays dinner! A hopper is when you get out of the cabin earlier than everyone else and get the dining hall ready for dinner, lunch, or dinner. But eh we had time to prepare I mean we are barely having breakfast. We had THE  most delicious French Toast's EVER!! I had 4 french toasts! Anyway after we went to our cabins to get ready for our cabin inspections and field class. Then we got ready for our field class and left out to go. We went on another hike through a small park. It was awesome yet tiring! I saw adorable mini lizards. We also came across edible plants called Miners Lettuce. I mean it was amazing you could just pluck it out from the dirt and eat it leaf and flower and all! Anyway we reach a amazing peak which took my breath away. It was the most beautiful view of the world ever! We got to yell "Gecko" out into the mountains and wait for the echo to come back to us. It was amazing. After we got back to camp and had a fab lunch. Wait for it... BUILD YOUR OWN FAJITAS! They came with a choice of back beans which we delicious.  Then we went out to recess! I played Sprout Ball with my friend Jessica! Then after we got time to practice our Cabin Cheers! Ours was amazing but weird. It was based of of the dance "Lean and Dabb". But we made it our own. It went like this. "Wake up in the morning then I see a salamander over there! And today we get to chase a coyote or a bear. And Today we get to hike and you know we got that bling our cabin leaders fawn and she's amazzzzinnnngggg! It was fun to practice.Then we went to field class. We had another breathtaking view waiting for us!  After the field class here came the dreaded 2nd day of showers. Just like the day before it was completely chaotic. After everyone dried off we hung our bathing suits and towels to dry outside our cabin, we got ready for dinner! We had to quickly finished drying off because... WE ARE HOPPERS! I was the first one out of showers with Amelie. Then we got ready and people started coming in. We had a yummy chicken with rice! And I got a salad from the salad bar as well. Anyway YAY! We got ready for the night hike which was amazing! We got to follow a path of LED lights in the dark! We all went separately though. We would have a line and each person would go with a 3 minute difference in the time they go. It was awesome but scary. The tree stumps scared the crap out of me! They looked like drippy demon people. But eh it was fun! We all met up and the instructor gave us some weird rocks that we ate. And when we bit into them they sparked up and glowed. It was awesome! After that we got to the cabins. We got ready for bed and snuggled up. But wait.... our cabin leader fawn got bored of reading the Lorax and said we could ask her any questions about her life. We stayed up till 10:00 but since the night patrol came through the cabins at 9:08 we pretended to sleep while she pretended to read. And then we got super hilarious stores about her embarrassing date stores. Stories such as "The Big Fart","The Big Burp","The Most Embarrassing Day Ever" my friend was laughing so hard that she rolled out of her bed! Then at 10:00 we drifted of to bed. To Be Continued.....

Hey Guys Im back with my Day 2 of my science camp!

!!DAY 2!!

In the morning I woke up as our night patrol lady "Seaweed" walked in turning the lights on blinding us. What was weird is that I would always be first in getting ready. So we got dressed and went outside to the amphitheater to here morning announcements. After we were dismissed to breakfast. OMG they served the most delicious pancakes! I ate like 3 and we had sausages that were to die for! I had 8 of the little sausages! After breakfast we went to our cabins to get ready for our field class and we also had to clean out our cabins for the inspections. In our field class we went on another hike. And after we came back we got to our cabins and unpacked our hiking gear. After we headed to the amphitheater were they dismissed us for lunch. As always their foods was AWESOME! We had yummy mini corn dogs,chips,and french fries. Food was on POINT as always. Then we went into recess!! But I had to go into the food place to help fix it up for dinner because I got sent to the hub twice. And that was my consequence. Many other people were there. After I went out and played games with my friends.After recess we got back to our cabins and started getting ready for field class. I combed my hair again for the 100th time in the day. I don't know why but I had a weird obsession with my hair brush during camp. During field class we went up this super exhausting hill. We went on a wolf hunt. And it was super tiring but fun!AND WE SAW A DEER!! After our field class here it goes.... DUN DUN DUN!!! WE HAD TO TAKE SHOWERS!!! They explained the rules in the amphitheater along with how to go bathroom in the wild! In science camp our number 1 is: "I need to chase a coyote" and number 2 is: "I need to chase a bear." So getting ready for showers was delusional it was crazy!We did have bathing suits on thank god! My shower buddy was Jessica AKA Chipmunk. After everyone changed and dryer off. Then we had dinner! Again food was on POINT! We got to make our own TACOS!!! OMG so YUMMY! And at the end of dinner we had a competition to see which table had no food at all on the plates. So most tables got the prize! And the prize was.... CHURROS!!!! After that we got ready for our Night Event. Today Our Night event was Astronomy Night! We had a very long interesting slide show on the planets and stuff, then we went outside to the sports court to see the planet mars through telescope!! It was awesome!! After we went to be and our awesome cabin leader Fawn read us "The Lorax" again. I drifted off to bed wondering what amazing things awaited me tomorrow... To Be Continued

The Campfire Event At Our First Day At Camp!

Hi guys I'm back and Im just going to tell my science camp experience!There will be multiple blog posts on my experience in days

!Day 1!

Im in my house eating my last family breakfast and my luggage is in the car already. I have lots of luggage! Anyway after breakfast my family and I get into the car and drive to the camp we pass a lake with lots of ducks.Theres also a quarry with lots of dust around it! Anyway once I get to camp everyone is there and I run to the benches by my friends. We have our instructors giving us a tour! So lets say I got sent to the hub 2 times in one day. And that one day was my first day! LOL! So anyway me and my friend Jessica were very excited. Jessica leaned over and said "I hope I get the Tiger Salamander Cabin". I just nodded my head because they were assigning cabins. And we were luck and got our cabin! #TIGERSALAMANDER! So our leader was Fawn! OMG she was THE best cabin leader ever! She was nice,funny and chill. I loved her so much! So anyway we had to get settled in to our cabins and I made my bed. I had a purple sleeping bag with a blanket from Costco that was super fluffy! My cabin was THE  best! My cabin included Jessica,Fawn,Aanchal,Shayan,Christell,Jocylen,Emily,Alexa,Julianna,Amelie,Mathilda and me! Its was awesome! After we got ready for our Lunch. After lunch I had already made good friends with the girls from the 49er academy! Christell,Jocylen,Emily,Alexa are super nice and awesome! I loved them like sisters for the week especially Emily she was super funny and super cool! They are really nice girls, and they speak spanish like me! Anyway after lunch we got ready for our first field class. Its was fun and guess what...EMILY was in my group! I was so excited! When our Instructor "Gecko" arrived we chose our "Nature Names".A nature names is the name your field instructor and cabin leader will call you by. Mine was "Angelfish" because they are really pretty and have like rainbow colors. Emily's name was "Tarantula". We went on our first hike and had a blast! We came back and had our Dinner. We had to scramble names up and get our table. My table was the Joshua Tree. I sat with Alexa,Katherine,Sergio,Pierson,Arjun ad Raul. My table was Ok I guess. Any way food was delicious! We had spaghetti and meatballs! IT WAS THE BEST MEATBALLS I HAVE EVER HAD! But since the camp was strict with food waste we had to get 2 meatballs and 2 scoops of spaghetti at a time. I had 8 plates! Raul had 7! But we were talking during the explanation of food waster and me and Raul got sent to the hub by "Squirrel".After we had our campfire and sang songs under the starry night. It was amazing my fav songs were Banana Slug and Habitat. During one of the songs I was talking with Jessica about an issue about my camera and Fawn sent me to the hub for talking over someone else. Like I said I got sent to the hub twice. After it was time for bed and I snuggled up in my bed and fell asleep as our awesome field instructor read us our nighttime story "The Lorax".
